SoluStaff is actively recruiting for an experienced Epic Inpatient Clin Doc Analyst to participate in technology projects as a member of the Inpatient Care and Case Management Teams, for a large healthcare enterprise in PA. The ideal candidate should have extensive inpatient experience, be Epic Clin Doc certified, and hold other certifications such as Healthy Planet, Orders, and Ambulatory, as relevant.

This is a 6 month, fully remote, consulting engagement.

• Work with customers, application developers, architects, project management and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality business solutions and optimize current workflows & implement new ones.
• Provide required business and/or technical support for both project and production related activities.
• Perform analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of software.
• Assure compliance with required standards and that all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to implement and optimize workflows and develop and document internal procedures.
• Serve as an Inpatient Epic Subject Matter Expert (SME), and analyze, build, test, implement and support Epic applications
• Lead and/ or participate in projects related to the optimization of clinical workflows.
• Design and document application changes and new features or defects in application area assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Management, or equivalent work experience in the related field
• 2+ years of EPIC Clin Doc experience required
• Clinical knowledge of hospital operations, particularly in the Inpatient departments is required
• Additional Epic certifications such as: Healthy Planet, Orders, or Ambulatory, preferred
• Strong customer service orientation
• Outstanding communication skills both oral and written
