Overview

This is an exciting opportunity! We are recruiting a full-time Business Analyst for our customer, a national specialty construction company headquartered in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Business Analyst will be given the opportunity to fully re-invent the way a company does business, from sales to service, inventory and supply management, to financials. You will be tasked with learning the entire business process of the company, from prospect generation to delivery to on-going support, and documenting the business processes and workflows. The Business Analyst will collaborate with a team of business and IT stakeholders, and assist in the development of business automation solutions for CRM, ERP, and business intelligence platforms.

 

Remote position, with full health benefits, PTO and 401k match. Excellent management team, and great work environment. Compensation up to $90k / year.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and document customer business processes and workflow for business operations.
  • Meet with business leaders and stakeholders, and elicit requirements by conducting interviews, shadowing users, and documentation review
  • Become the subject matter expert in the capabilities of customer’s current and future software solutions
  • Analyze, draft, validate and finalize business requirements.
  • Document functional requirements utilizing various techniques including use cases, data flow diagrams, process/workflow diagrams, screen mock-ups,
  • Conduct gap analysis and downstream impact exercises for system changes.
  • Assist with support of system changes/ implementation on an as-needed basis
  • Responsible for the analysis of features being released in CRM / ERP / Business Intelligence platforms
  • Develop data and reporting requirements
  • Work with internal IT team, 3rd party consultants and implementation teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop use cases for testing, create test scripts based on functional requirements in the areas of sales, service and marketing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Management, or Information Technology
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst (or directly parallel role) for enterprise level technical systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately and succinctly document and report to a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide team members, managers, customers, and other external parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a consultative role to understand functional business processes, related information technology needs, and develop solutions
  • Working knowledge of data and process mapping and modelling methodologies
  • Understanding of SaaS CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics, others.
  • Aptitude for technology and systems
  • Excellent analysis skills
  • Works well within a team environment and individually
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and solutions as required.
