Overview

SoluStaff is actively recruiting an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Web Team supporting a portfolio of development projects for a large healthcare provider in Pennsylvania. The DevOps Engineer is a foundational role in building out CI/CD for all team software development platforms including Liferay, Java, Mulesoft and .NET. The ideal candidate must have JAVA and .NET development experience and be interested in working with a small development team to modernize, standardize and assist this rapidly growing organization to prepare for the future. This is a full-time, remote consulting position. SoluStaff offers competitive salary, 401k, health benefits and PTO.

Responsibilities

  • Build out continuous integration/continuous delivery processes (CI/CD) for all team software development platforms to standardize and modernize the release management process
  • Administer core enterprise web systems
  • Provide ongoing support to existing Java and .NET technologies
  • Drive technology changes and implement best practices within the group
  • Maintain company’s DevOps pipeline with automated processes and tools to allow developers to build and deploy code into production
  • Provide guidance and advice on ensuring the DevOps environment tools and processes are built to industry standards and are updated as standards evolve
  • Ensure architecture and design decisions are aligned with business vision, and that systems are built for availability, reliability, scalability, and security
  • Streamline software development and deployment operations across the team
  • Participate in code reviews and check-ins during development and release into production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Management, or equivalent work experience in the related field
  • Degree in computer science, information technology or related field preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in software engineering at enterprise organizations
  • Experience with Web development tools: Java, .NET, etc.
  • Experience in the development of build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with CMS tools, specifically Liferay and Mulesoft
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
