SoluStaff is actively recruiting a Geographic Information System (GIS) Project Manager to support our law enforcement customer’s geospatial and analytical functions and initiatives.  The GIS platform is a fully tiered development, staging, and production enterprise environment comprised of database, web, and application servers. The platform hosts geospatial web applications and database services serving as a data aggregation and analytical application platform for our customer.  All work to be performed remotely.  Exciting opportunity to lead a GIS team that will develop cutting-edge data analytics platforms for criminal justice, public safety, and public health issues.


  • Works directly with the clients, users, and decision makers.
  • Manages the priorities and activities of Solution Architect, Developers and Analysts towards accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
  • Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
  • Provides oversight of project team and task management.


  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university which has included major course work in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Urban Planning, Public Health, Natural Resources (analytical focus), Statistics, Information Science, or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing GIS programs
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise / Desktop / GeoEvent Server 10.8
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure environment
  • Expertise in Advising and providing technical expertise on mobile device management (MDM)
