Overview

SoluStaff is actively recruiting a Technical Support Specialist (Tier 1/2) for its customer, a large government customer located in Philadelphia.  The technical support specialist will provide tier 1 and 2 technical support to end users by researching, diagnosing, and resolving issues, as well as fulfilling end user requests. This position will participate in project work to migrate users and workstations to a new domain, as well as deploy new workstations throughout the customer environment.  This is a full-time opportunity; support will be provided via a combination of on-site and remote.

Responsibilities

  • Answering calls and responding to emails from end users.
  • Entering tickets into the ticketing system and resolving issues or complete requests.
  • Imaging laptops and workstations.
  • Resetting Active Directory passwords.
  • Troubleshooting various software like MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Various other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PC hardware
  • Experience with Active Directory Users and Computers
  • Knowledge of Office 365
  • Experience with software installation and configuration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to explain technical issues to all levels of users
  • Ability to work off hours
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
