SoluStaff is actively recruiting a Computer Forensic Investigation Analyst to perform computer and digital forensic services to SoluStaff customers. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct computer forensic data recovery, data analysis and lead our customer’s electronic discovery process. The ideal candidate will have experience using a wide variety of computer forensic software such as Nuix, EnCase, ForensicToolKit, Paraben, and others.  The candidate will be expected to have a solid foundation of technical experience and expertise, possess strong communication skills, and continually strive to exceed our customer’s expectations. The Computer Forensic Investigation Analyst must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and demonstrate outstanding communication skills.


This is a remote position, with occasional on-site work at SoluStaff offices / customer locations, as necessary.


  • Apply sound methodologies to collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence
  • Work with key stakeholders on the identification, collection, analysis and production of digital evidence
  • Perform eDiscovery functions
  • Understand and work with various categories of electronic evidence including media, email, and networks
  • Forensically collect and analyze digital evidence and conduct cyber investigations
  • Use forensic tools and investigative methods to find specific electronic data, such as Internet use history, word processing documents, images, files, etc.
  • Report on and present findings to stakeholders
  • Lead customers in the electronic discovery process from the initial planning stage through data retrieval and production


  • Degree in Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or relevant work experience in forensics and/or investigations 2 or more years of experience in Digital Forensics
  • One or more relevant security certifications, such as Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or other related certifications
  • Proficiency with Forensic collection and data analysis tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Paraben, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge on the collection of traditional machines, virtual machines, and other network devices
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Understanding and experience with different OS: Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix
  • Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Prior eDiscovery work a plus
