Overview

SoluStaff is actively recruiting multiple Configuration Analyst for its customer, a large healthcare payer in the Northeastern U.S.  The Configuration Analyst will assist our client in the hands-on configuration and implementation of a new Medicare product.  The Configuration Analyst must have significant technical experience configuring provider contracts in a core platform such as HealthEdge HealthRules Payor, Trizetto, QNXT, etc.   The Configuration Analyst will work with an Agile-based team, have direct line of sight to contracts and reimbursement analysts, and report to a Team Lead.

 

This is a remote position, and may require an orientation / ramp-up period of up to two weeks at customer site.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, configure, test, and implement required Health Plan Provider contracts and pricing utilizing HealthRules Payor
  • Interpret specific health plan benefits, contracts, as well as additional business requirements and convert these requirements to configuration parameters.
  • Configure and implement core functionality with an emphasis on provider contracts and pricing configuration and operations.
  • Configure provider maintenance and contract setup activities.
  • Consult with Team Lead to determine appropriate interpretation and configuration of contract terms.
  • Code, update and maintain provider contracts, fee schedules and various system tables through the user interface.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a Configuration Analyst within Health Plan setting.
  • 3+ years of experience in Provider Information Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or health care administration, or other related field preferred.
  • Knowledge in medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS.
