Overview

SoluStaff is actively recruiting an Information Security Analyst for its customer based in Philadelphia, PA.  The Information Security Analyst will report directly to the customer’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The Information Security Analyst will assist in the coordination of security efforts with the CISO, manage and monitor the security posture of the customer, and provide training, awareness and mitigation/remediation plans of threats and vulnerabilities.  This position is accountable for the maintenance of the customer’s cybersecurity policies and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and upgrade security measures and controls
  • Protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access, modification or destruction
  • Maintain data and monitor security access
  • Conduct internal and external security audits
  • Manage network, intrusion detection and prevention systems
  • Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause
  • Recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures
  • Define, implement and maintain corporate security policies
  • Security awareness training
  • Coordinate security plans with outside vendors

Qualifications

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university, which has included major course work in computer science, information science, system analysis, software engineering, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of two years of work experience
  • Perform Penetration and Vulnerability testing of applications and infrastructure
  • Conduct Security assessments of network infrastructure, hosts and applications
  • Thorough understanding of DLP, AV and anti-malware
  • Experience with TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching
  • Experience with C, C++, C#, Java, Python or PHP programming languages –
  • Experience with Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems
  • Excellent report writing and communication
  • Ability to work well independently or with a team
  • Available to travel, possibly internationally
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Any of the following certifications
    • CISSP
    • CISM
    • CISA
    • Certified Ethical Hacker
    • Global Information Assurance
    • Microsoft/Cisco Certifications pertaining to security
