    SoluStaff is actively recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper for its client, a healthcare organization comprised of primary care and specialty medical offices located in the Lewes, DE area.  The ideal candidate would be responsible for all bookkeeping duties including: managing AR and AP, filing quarterly taxes, reconciling bank statements, posting transactions, entering data in the general ledger, making bank deposits, etc.  This is a full-time position.


    • Maintain the established Chart of Accounts
    • Retrieve, open, sort and disburse mail daily
    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Reconciling bank statements and posting transactions
    • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
    • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions and reconciling entries
    • Maintain and balance general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries, prepare trial and reconciling errors
    • Assists with budget preparations
    • Assist accountant with tax preparations, preparation of profit loss statements and balance sheets
    • Assist with 401K Management and ADP Payroll bi-weekly submission and ADP maintenance of Payroll Files
    • Comply with federal, state and local SAFS Rules (Statement of Financial Accounting Standards) by studying and enforcing adherence to policies and procedures; filing reports and advising management on needed actions


    • Associate’s Degree in Accounting; Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) is preferred
    • Three or more years experience with QuickBooks Pro Accounting Software
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
    • Good oral and written communication skill required as well as the ability to follow directions
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Proficiency in MS office and the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.
