SoluStaff is actively recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager for its client, located in Center City Philadelphia.  The IT Project Manager will be responsible for a major legacy system replacement, and will work with internal staff, as well as a third-party COTS vendor, to ensure its successful completion.


  • Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and managing a budget and schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
  • Focus on system testing, user acceptance testing, and roll-out of functionality.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
  • Communicate project plan
  • Monitor and control project work
  • Establish project deliverables
  • Implement approved actions
  • Communicate with Company executives regarding the status of project.


  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a computer and or business related field or equivalent combination of project management and IT skills and experience (in depth knowledge of IT a strong plus)
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of previous experience in Information Services management and/or project management field.
  • Minimum of 3  years of experience leading medium to large IT projects; Manage full life-cycle of IT projects, including SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile
  • Evidence of proficiency and or certification in the use of project management software and techniques
  • Evidence of strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills for working with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the full life cycle technical project management and business analysis
