Overview

SoluStaff is actively recruiting a Reporting Analyst (QuadraMed EMR) for a healthcare organization in the South Central, NY area.   The candidate will be responsible for a variety of reporting tasks and associated analysis.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyzing, interpreting and reporting clinical, financial and operational performance trends from various channels & departments, identifying areas performing outside of expected results
  • Gathering requirements, compiling, interpreting and reconciling key business clinical, financial, operational and statistical data, and generating a variety of complex and detailed value-added reports for senior-level executives, internal customers and external clients
  • Develop efficiencies to consolidate and increase the effectiveness of reporting, and maintain departmental reports used internally and externally
  • Ensure the timely and accurate generation of all corporate internal/external reporting, promote consistency and standardization amongst the various types of reports and databases, and manage the various reporting tools utilized by the client
  • Participate in the development of data warehouse’s, data stores and other supplemental reporting enhancements, including the creation of new reporting templates and analytical reports
  • Reconcile outbound data files against supporting detail (i.e., billing invoice data)
  • Develop and submit (for management approval) Programming Request Forms
  • Maintain the Scheduled Reporting Data Base and applicable documentation of reporting procedures.
  • Triage (on a rotating basis), assign and fulfill queued requests
  • Meet all time sensitive reporting dates
  • Work with departmental Leadership to adhere to overall business process, approach, and discipline of reporting and analysis within the Unit
  • Work independently with client managers and client representatives to identify trends, develop and present explanations for variances in payment or utilization patterns and conduct independent reviews of provider utilization patterns to identify opportunities for improvement in service/cost
  • Perform ad hoc duties in accordance with business needs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Information Technology experience in a Healthcare Setting
  • 5 years of experience in Reporting building and analysis
  • ETL of data from the Cache Database of the QuadraMed Application and transfer to DWH.
  • Experience in reporting from a variety of data sources SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, Teradata
  • Experience in SSRS, SSAS, Oracle Discoverer / OBIEE, Cognos, Business Objects or other reporting solutions.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent required
