SoluStaff is actively recruiting for a full time Technical Infrastructure Manager for a Healthcare client north of Philadelphia.  The role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT assets. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links. This role is also responsible for telephone, data center, security systems and other electronic infrastructure.


  • Responsible for the security of networks, servers, workstations and applications
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use.
  • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation.
  • Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization's network.
  • Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software. Responsible for on-site and off-site data centers.
  • Test network/server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network/server infrastructure.
  • Ensure all infrastructure components are administered and maintained in accordance with the suppliers’ instructions and the MIS departmental standards.
  • Ensure effective change control is implemented for all installations, un-installations, updates and changes. Accessing and documenting any risks and impacts to the business.
  • Ensure that the hospital's hardware and systems comply with relevant legislation and Group policies.
  • Respond to any emergency situations that arise to ensure resources are rallied so that service is restored as quickly as possible.
  • Document and implement security policies for all aspects of the network including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, virtual private network VPN, SSL portals, access management systems, antivirus, antimalware, vulnerability scanning mobile device management, and encryption.
  • Conduct routine assessment of equipment before and after implementation to ensure security policies are in place
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in security policy and tools
  • Ensure all operating system and application security patches are implemented including but not limited to Windows, SQL, Meditech, NextGen, Provation, TalkTech, Dragon and Fuji.



  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security or equivalent education and experience
  • Advanced technical or managerial credentials, including CISSP, PMP, Cisco or Microsoft
  • 10-15 years Network Administration experience including server build, back up and disaster recover
  • 10-15 years LAN/WAN design, implementation and support
  • 5+ year implementing IT Security policies for hardware and applications
  • 10 years of experience working within HIPAA, NIST or ISO Standards
  • 5 years of experience with Meditech, Fuji Synapse Radiology and Cardiology, Talk Technology, Provation GI, Philips Perinatal, Philips Brilliance
  • Experience in Windows workstation/server administration, in administration / configuration of Network solutions, SAN Storage, Security, Virtualization solutions, Cisco VPN, Entrust, IPS/IDS and SIEM technologies
  • Experience in administration/configuration of Network solutions, SAN storage, Security and Virtualization
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and be highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently
