Overview

SoluStaff is actively recruiting for numerous Epic Credentialed Trainers (Ambulatory/Inpatient and Billing) for a healthcare organization based in the New York City area for Epic Implementations. The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for the training of end users of the assigned Epic application(s) on how to use the Epic system by following curriculum developed by the Instructional Designers, both pre and post go-live. The Credentialed Trainer participates in formal classroom education delivery, training labs and “at the elbow” support. Responsible for adjusting lesson plans to the changing needs of the training environment.

Responsibilities

 

  • Train the Epic application module functionality sufficiently to teach end users how to use the system
  • Learn the end-user work flows to teach end users how workflows might change
  • Identify potential training gaps/issues and work with the other training team members to resolve
  • Ensure availability of all necessary training materials
  • Monitor student enrollment and manage attendance in training classes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Business Administration, Communications or Health Care related equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of IT development, implementation and training of systems
  • Experience delivering a combination of classroom, on line, and one-on-one training
  • 3-4 years of previous Epic Credentialed Training experience required
  • Must complete required e-learning and pass Credentialing test and Presentation
  • Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills
  • Experience in adult education
