SoluStaff is recruiting a Healthcare Data Analyst for one of our Philadelphia suburban hospitals clients.



  • Work with internal and external business partners to develop and improve data sharing processes, advancing insights into population health risks.
  • Compile and automate loading of data sources from various programs and departments, providing support for data integrity and data validation.  
  • Collaborate with and provide analytical support to the Program Development team, identifying potential pilot sites to test model of care and advance care delivery.
  • Work in partnership with business leaders to identify new opportunities for medical management pilots and programs, quantifying potential ROI.
  • Perform analysis on quality, cost and satisfaction metrics to evaluate performance of strategic programs across organization.
  • Use analytics to provide vendor oversight, assessing vendor outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Conduct complex quantitative analyses using tools such as SQL and Excel.
  • Complete ad hoc analyses to support internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Economics, or other relevant field required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience analyzing data in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Extensive experience with advanced analytic features of SQL, Access and Excel required.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with managing and modeling of large data sets, required.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret healthcare data and effectively present sophisticated analyses and findings to both subject matter experts and lay audiences.
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare coding conventions such as ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS.
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and/or Commercial reporting
  • Ability to take full ownership of projects, meeting scheduled deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality.
  • Exhibits initiative in exploring and discovering opportunities to improve corporate performance through data analysis.
  • Prepare and presents analyses/reports in clear and useful format to management and colleagues in other departments.
