- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Economics, or other relevant field required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience analyzing data in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Extensive experience with advanced analytic features of SQL, Access and Excel required.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with managing and modeling of large data sets, required.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret healthcare data and effectively present sophisticated analyses and findings to both subject matter experts and lay audiences.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare coding conventions such as ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS.
- Experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and/or Commercial reporting
- Ability to take full ownership of projects, meeting scheduled deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality.
- Exhibits initiative in exploring and discovering opportunities to improve corporate performance through data analysis.
- Prepare and presents analyses/reports in clear and useful format to management and colleagues in other departments.
