SoluStaff is actively searching for an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst for an upcoming project based in New York City.


  • Engage with business partners to elicit business and  functional requirements
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Analyze business and data requirements and help design optimum solution
  • Extensive experience in developing business requirement document and functional requirement document
  • Experience with Data Conversion, patient registration processes in a complex healthcare setting (network of multiple hospitals)
  • Proven Team Player
  • Liaise between business analysts and technical team
  • Data mapping


  • Thorough understanding of software development life cycle
  • LPN, RN, Medical Technologist, Lab Technician Preferred
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+  Hospital experience preferred
  • 8+ IT Experience
  • SQL scripting experience
  • Strong interpersonal as well as written and spoken communication skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving ability are essential.
  • Leveraging  industry best practice experience in Data Quality processes
  • Ability to work on a large scale project in an agile environment
  • Analyze data and desired end results to develop testing and conversion plans
  • Facilitate and Document Data Lifecycle management processes,  end-to-end business data flow, hierarchies and alternate views
  • Perform data quality and root cause analysis
  • Perform detailed business requirement analysis,  functional processes, and requirements
  • Responsible for business process understanding of data consumption
  • Develop solution and design approaches to business requirements
  • Work with business counterparts and engineers to identify requirements and prioritize those for delivery
  • Define data relationship management strategies according to business requirements
