SoluStaff is actively recruiting for a highly motivated, detail oriented Epic Project Manager with extensive project management experience implementing Epic Revenue Cycle for integrated Health Care Networks for our client in NYC.


Daily Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Define, develop and  manage the overall project’s master schedule ensuring timely project delivery
  • Coordinate, conduct and provide minutes for regular weekly Core project team status meetings.
  • Define, manage and report on all project related issues.
  • Define, develop, manage and provide monthly reports concerned with the project’s budget via detailed work stream reports and aggregated project financial summaries.
  • Define, develop, manage and provide monthly project Risk Management Plans.
  • Develop and distribute weekly project and allover program Status Reports.
  • The preparation and presentation of regular executive level progress, status and forecast positions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client disciplines effected by the assigned projects within the program
  • Communication to management and executive steering outlining project status and progress against milestones.

  • Demonstrated project management, personnel, financial, vendor management, skills and experience; including project design, implementation, reporting and evaluation to ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of project management methodologies and application of these approaches in a formal project environment.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing IT solutions into business environment, managing organizational change and the realization of business benefits.
  • Awareness of current and emerging trends in health related information management and technology and its potential application.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, customer focused outcomes.
  • Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, particularly in reporting, public presentation and consultation, and the ability to negotiate and communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to foster a culture of learning by exploring creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict and affect resolution in a ‘win-win’ for all concerned. 
  • Experience with C-Level presentations required.


Soft Skills Desired:

  • Ability to define product benefits effectively to non- technical management


Educational and Training Requirements:

  • Experience with at least 1 full implementation of Epic revenue cycle applications
  • Epic certification in one of the Revenue Cycle disciplines preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing complex, multi-team hospital billing and/or professional billing Epic revenue cycle implementation projects
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare IT, with at least 1 of those years in a revenue cycle leadership role
  • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in the following fields of study: finance, accounting, computer science and / or engineering (Master’s Degree strongly preferred)
  • PMP Certification Strongly Preferred.
  • Skilled at applying structured Project Life Cycle methodology.
  • Experience in the use of the MS Office tool suite and MS Project working with sub-projects and linked projects is required
  • Experience with multiple server hardware platforms and middle-tier and storage systems and software.
  • Experience with Application development life cycles.
