SoluStaff is actively recruiting a highly motivated, detail oriented Epic HIM Senior Analyst for our client in NYC.  The Epic HIM Sr. Analyst is responsible for the Epic HIM application build, configuration and print configuration of reports from. The Epic HIM Sr. Analyst must be able to perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic.



  • The Epic HIM Sr. Analyst will be expected to have a full understanding of the HIM application as well as a good understanding of the revenue cycle and the revenue cycle as it pertains to Epic
  • Work with application end users to identify and correct issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop, support and maintain required system design and build documents and other project documentation (business/system requirements and changes in workflow and configures system accordingly)
  • Contribute to the  update and development of testing scripts and materials
  • Actively participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle and performs unit, system, regression and integrated testing tasks and activities
  • Adhere to organizational standards for application configuration and system Change Control
  • Work with Principal Trainers to maintain and update application specific training curriculum and materials
  • Attend team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, work tasks, and issues
  • Create and maintain regular status reports and provides verbal and written status to Project Managers and project leadership, as required
  • Complete specific  team task activities as outlined in the project workplan and other job-related duties as assigned
  • Testing:  configuration, integration, end-to-end including downstream
  • Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives


  •  Certification in the following EPIC modules:

      • HIM 2014
      • Identity 2014
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on prior EPIC software implementations
  • Must be knowledgeable in  ADT/Prelude, Cadence, Identity, HIM/Coding Deficiency modules
  • Strong  understanding of the build, testing and implementation of Epic Systems
  • Expertise in workflow and business analysis skills
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical and other IT
  • Strong written, verbal and people skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment and take direction as supplied by management
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.)
