SoluStaff is actively recruiting a Epic Cadence and ADT/Prelude Specialist (Registration and Scheduling) for a large healthcare organization based in New York City.  The Epic Cadence and ADT/Prelude Specialist (Registration and Scheduling) is responsible for the build, configuration and deployment of the Epic ADT/Prelude and Cadence Scheduling applications and deliverables.  This position requires a seasoned health care professional who has a deep knowledge of revenue cycle management and Epic’s ADT/Prelude and Cadence modules. The Epic Cadence and ADT/Prelude Specialist (Registration and Scheduling)  should be able to support the implementation of Registration and Scheduling, Admission, Transfer, Discharge, Bed and Room Management, Transport, Housekeeping processes as well as work queue processing, reports and dashboards.


  • Gather business requirement on facility structure and procedures
  • Provide support and configuration expertise on setup and addition of Payers, Plans, Transport and Environmental Services
  • Support functions pertaining to registration, admission, authorization/certification of coverage, bed planning, unit management,  transport management, management reporting and dashboards
  • Set up and configure Patient work queues, forms, templates, patterns, blocks
  • Create functions pertaining to scheduling for registrars, unit management and providers
  • Creation of providers/resources
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of configuration and integration, including downstream effects
  • Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives
  • Report-writing skills a plus


  • Certification in the following modules:
      • ADT/Prelude 2014
      • Cadence 2014
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience working on prior EPIC software implementations
  • Must be knowledgeable in the following modules: Resolute HB and PB, Identity, HIM/Coding Deficiency
  • Must be knowledgeable in Orders, CDM, Charge Router,   HIPPA health care transactions, HL7 transactions
  • Strong understanding of the build, testing and implementation of Epic Systems
  • Expertise in workflow and business analysis skills
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical and other IT
  • Strong written, verbal and people skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment and take direction as supplied by management
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.)
