SoluStaff is actively recruiting for a PeopleSoft Security Administrator for its NYC-based healthcare customer. The PeopleSoft Security Administrator’s role is to ensure the secure operation of in-house computer systems, servers, and network connections. This includes checking server and firewall logs, scrutinizing network traffic, establishing and updating virus scans, and troubleshooting. This person will also analyze and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and conduct user activity audits where required. Oversee the PeopleSoft account administration process, ensuring that account creations, modifications, and deletions occur in a timely and appropriate manner
Ability to configure the PeopleSoft HCM and ELM (9.0 or higher) system to meet unique business requirements
Ensure that appropriate roles, permission lists, and row level security exists for all functional areas
Work with stakeholders, customers, and technical resources to design, implement, and maintain security structures for delivered and customized PeopleSoft applications
Experience with the full lifecycle of both implementations and upgrades
Have a solid understanding of setup tables, processing, and reporting requirements
Have a solid understanding of integration of all HCM and ELM modules
Routinely audit security in all environments, ensuring that all users are appropriately provisioned for their work function
Maintain and migrate security across multiple databases in support of database refresh activities
Analyzes and resolves security and access problems
Write and maintain documentation related to security design, implementation, and practices
Acts as top tier support for critically escalated issues related to security
Will collaborate with customers, staff and external customers on a regular basis to solve problems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience with application & server security administration including software installations, deployments and configuration/troubleshooting/problems solving on Windows, Unix and/or Linux Servers, AIX
Must possess expert-level technical knowledge in Application Security, Mainframe Security, Server/System Security (AIX, LINUX, Windows Server etc).
Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices.
Ability to follow strict procedures for disciplined installations, documentation, event handling and change control
Ability to work flexible maintenance windows, and participate in on-call 24x7 rotation
Must be able to communicate complex technical details in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical staff
Must have experience with Security Administration for PeopleSoft HR and ELM Applications 9.0 and higher
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Security LDAP Authentication.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, PeopleSoft Single Sign-On and Oracle Internet Directory (OID)/OVD security infrastructure.
Excellent working knowledge of PeopleSoft Security Architecture components such as:
User Profile Management
Roles and Permission Lists
Queries Route Control
Row level security setup
